Crushing, Aggregates Processing & Mining
Construction aggregate — or simply “aggregate” — is a broad category of coarse particulate material used in construction, including sand, gravel, crushed stone, slag and recycled concrete. Melco Precisions makes wear parts for the machinery that processes all of it: horizontal and vertical shaft impactors, jaw crushers and cone crushers.
Melco Precisions is an OEM supplier to Metso Minerals, Hazemag, Rubble Master, Humboldt Wedag, Paul Wurth, FLSmidth and many more world-class companies. We also make aftermarket castings for Kleemann, Parker, Svedala, Tesab, Hartl, Canica, Eagle, Humboldt Wedag, Kawasaki, Telsmith, Spokane, Pulvomatic and Stedman, to name a few.

ELV Recycling & Auto Shredder
End-of-life shredding is done for economic as well as environmental reasons. Recycling prevents the waste of potentially useful materials, reduces the consumption of raw materials, reduces energy usage, and cuts air and water pollution by reducing the need for conventional waste disposal — lowering greenhouse gas emissions compared with virgin production.
Scrap metals can be recycled and used again for an indefinite period, meaning we protect and preserve some of nature's most limited resources.

Construction & Demolition Recycling
Wear parts such as blow bars for the crushing of recycled construction materials and their waste management — old buildings, houses and roads — plus environment protection services for development projects as well as urban infrastructure and development projects in the country.
CDR feed is unforgiving. Rebar, uncrushable tramp metal and highly variable material all arrive together, which is why manganese grades dominate this duty.

Waste & Biomass to Energy
Melco Precisions makes quality heat resistant steel castings like stoking, travelling and reciprocating grates for waste-to-energy plant incinerators and boilers. We are an OEM supplier to KMW Energi (Sweden), now Jernforsen, and have been making similar grates for years now.
These are facilities that combust waste to produce electricity — sometimes called trash-to-energy, biomass-to-energy, municipal waste incineration, energy recovery or resource recovery plants. Biomass is a renewable source of fuel because waste residues will always exist in the form of scrap wood, mill residuals and forest resources.
Melco's engineering team and foundry have successfully designed grate bars for pinhole grates, reciprocating step grates, slope grates, fixed grates, travelling grates and several others. The grate bars are made specifically for biomass including trash, wood, bark, nut shells, RDF and other agricultural waste.

Iron Ore Pelletization
Melco Precisions has been making grate bars for India's Kudremukh Iron Ore Company, Essar Steel and JSW iron ore pelletisation plants.
Grate bars in this duty run hot and run continuously. They fail by creep, thermal fatigue and oxidation rather than abrasion — so the alloy and the soundness of the casting, not just the profile, decide how long a bar lasts.
